Toddler Parent’s Day Out

Since 1963, Westbury Methodist Day School has lovingly served children and families in Houston. Our Toddler Parent’s Day Out program provides a warm, nurturing environment where young children learn through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences.

We value each child’s social, emotional, spiritual, physical, and intellectual development. Our classrooms encourage curiosity, creativity, independence, and positive relationships with others.

The goals of our program are to help each child develop:

  • A positive self-image and self-reliance

  • Creativity and curiosity

  • Positive attitudes about school

  • Spirituality and faith

  • Appropriate social behaviors such as sharing, taking turns, being patient, and cooperation

  • Ability to express feelings

  • Positive relationships with others

  • Physical well-being and good health habits

Creative activities for self-expression and socialization:

  • Arts and crafts

  • Music appreciation, singing, rhythm activities, and creative movement

  • Enjoyment of stories and books

  • Finger plays and dramatizations

  • Indoor and outdoor play

  • Fine motor and gross motor development

  • Games with numbers, patterns, sequence, etc.

  • Block-building activities

  • Language and vocabulary development

Developmentally appropriate materials and activities help toddlers safely explore, discover, and grow in a joyful learning environment.

PDO School Hours

Monday and Friday 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Tuesday–Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Toddler PDO Program & Fees
Toddler PDO Registration Contract

Toddlers must be at least 18 months old, walking, able to self-feed, and able to sit at a table.

Enrollment Fees: Registration Fee: Paid annually at time of registration. $125.00 (Non-refundable; cash/check)

Activity/Supply Fee: Paid annually at time of registration. $275.00 (Non-refundable; cash/check)

Discounts: Each family is entitled to one type of discount, if applicable. A per family discount begins with the second child’s tuition.

  • WUMC Members: 5% discount

  • Multiple Children: 5% discount
