Enrollment
Enrollment in the Day School is a nine-month (September -May) commitment. For your convenience, tuition may be paid monthly. Tuition rates for the school year are set by the Director and the Day School Committee. Rates may be adjusted on an annual basis by the Director and/or the Committee.
All classes are determined by enrollment demands. We make every effort to accommodate your first choice.
In-House Registration
In-house registration begins Tuesday, February 13, 2024 for the 2024-2025 school year. All current students and church members are offered spaces before the public. Current enrollment does not guarantee a space in a class for next year. Only completed registration forms accompanied with enrollments fees will be considered.
Community (Open) Registration
Community registration begins Tuesday, February 20, 2024, for the 2024-2025 school year. Any spaces remaining after in-house registration will be offered to the community. Only completed registration forms accompanied with registration fee will be considered.
Westbury Methodist Day School (est. 1967) and Parent's Day Out (est. 1963), enrollment is open to all children, regardless of race, ethnic origin, or religious preference. We celebrate the diversity of our students and their families.
Day School
To apply to our Day School, a child must be 2 years old by September 1st and be toilet trained before starting the 3-year-old class. There are no exceptions given.
Two-Year-Old Classes
(2 years old as of September 1st)
3 days per week: Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday
5 days per week: Monday through Friday
Three-Year-Old Classes
(3 years old as of September 1st)
3 days per week: Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday
5 days per week: Monday through Friday
Pre-K
(4 years old as of September 1st)
5 days per week: Monday through Friday
Parent’s Day Out
To apply to our Parent’s Day Out, a child must be at least 18 months old on his/her first day of school, walking, and able to self feed. Parent’s Day Out is a program for toddlers. The offering of this program is dependent on enrollment numbers.
3 days per week: Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday
Extended Care
Extended Care is an additional child-care program available for all children enrolled in Day School, ages 2 to 5 years old. Extended Care is offered in the morning from 7:30-9:00 a.m. and in the afternoon from 1:00-5:30 p.m. each school day and during select holidays when our day school is closed.

Parent's Day Out Bridge (p.m.)
If a family has children enrolled in both PDO and the Day School, we offer child care to bridge the difference between the ending times on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday for those children. For the Day School child, there is care from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. This rate applies only to these times. Using Extended Care earlier or later will incur other charges. PDO children may not attend Extended Care.

Summer Program
Our Summer Program includes two sessions and one additional week. Classes are available for toddlers through the summer exiting 1st grade.
